Yaw Grey born Grey Nana karikari Antwi is a Ghanaian rap artist also known as the HIPLIFE general. His music is an artistic reflection of passion, energy and all the social and economic realities of his personal experiences in life. He is like an outlet or voice for the victims of some realities of life, such as, love, hate, poverty and riches.

Early Life

He has always loved to be a rap star, since childhood he has been mimicking and imitating international rap stars such as PUBLIC ENEMY, RAKIM, KRS-ONE,METHOD MAN and BUSTA RHYMES just to mention a few. However, he actually discovered how well he could rap in senior high school, he joined most entertainment shows, rapping on stage with the stage name VIRUX, he was such a big name in the rap and entertainment scene.
